MEV 1966 Yenko Corvair

I know there are many of you out there who would cringe at the thought of doing what I've done. Just be glad you didn't buy it for me! ;-) I got this MEV '66 Yenko Corvair from Nostalgia Hobby. At the same time I got my Teammate JJ a '69 Dart GTS (which met a similar fate). Yes, Mike does great work on these cars, and yes, they are on the expensive side, but hey.... I wanna race the thing.... And if I'm gonna do that, I gotta cut it.

All the pictures posted here show the car at the same level if modification. Starting at the top, stock, rev 1, rev 2, rev 3. Stock is how I bought it--no mods. Rev 1 saw the introction of the new front and rear setups, but the body remained uncut/pristine. Rev 2 is post Dremel. The body has been lowered as much I could. The hood and trunk have been thinned as much as I could, and the glass has been shaved for gear clearance. The same rear hubs as Rev 1 are used, but the tires are low profile skinny silicone from Nostalgia Hobby. Rev 3 is the same as 2, with the exception of the rear wheels/tires, which have .382 ThunderRubbers.
